OtiumFarm specializes in the production of rigid suspension single-axle agricultural trailers. The brand's offer includes single-axle trailers with a load capacity from 1.2 tons to 6.35 tos and with an unladen trailer mass from 1.5 tons to 8.0 tons.

The Glinkowski Group has been producing agricultural single-axle trailers for almost 10 years. Production activity was initially subject to the quality requirements of the German market, on which over 90% of manufactured trailers were delivered [read more Agricultural Trailers – click]. Until today, the German market remains the main recipient of OtiumFarm trailers, but their export has expanded to Great Britain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and the domestic market.

OtiumFarm: Manufacturer of single-axle agricultural trailers

Agricultural single-axle trailers referred in the sales nomenclature as OTF1 are based on OtiumFarm own designs and equipped with parts and components of selected manufacturers, e.g. BOVA, PRONAR sides, ADR, RINNER axles, MEFRO, PRONAR, JANTSA wheels, KABAT, MITAS tires. At the request of our Clients, we use elements and parts of other well-known agricultural equipment manufacturers.

In the case of own designs, a rectangular load platform is made of a steel support frame and floor, made of laser-welded high-strength structural steel (S355), 3 - 4 mm thick. The entire structure is painted twice in a modern powder coating workshop [see GRAXX Services – click the link]. The first layer with epoxy paint with a high content of zinc, the second layer with polyester paint.

Technical characteristics of OTF1 single-axle agricultural trailers

In the case of a trailer, the basic source of noise is the tractor and the sound pressure level depend on its technical condition.

OtiumFarm agricultural single-axle trailers are equipped with a drawbar enabling coupling of the trailer with the tractor via the towing eye on the clevis coupling. They are adapted to cooperate with all brands of agricultural tractors available on the market that are equipped with an external hydraulic system and clevis coupling. All manufactured agricultural trailers are equipped with lighting system enabling the trailer to drive on public roads.

Agricultural single-axle trailers with three-way tipper OtiumFarm single-axle agricultural trailers are characterized by high durability and reliability. Manoeuvrable with a rigid and sealed structure and functional, three-way tipping system, ensure the highest work efficiency. The hydraulic tipping system is powered from the tractor's external hydraulics. The tipping is controlled from the tractor cabin using the hydraulic distributor lever. The standard system includes central sidewalls locking. For the more precise unloading of loose materials, e.g. grain, the sidewall can be ordered with a grain chute. The low level of the trailer floor facilitates unmechanized loading for farmers. On request, OtiumFarm agricultural trailers are equipped with extensions over the sidewalls, in the form of an additional protective mesh [or full extension] securing the transport of larger agricultural products.

Single-axle agricultural trailers with overrun brake

OtiumFarm single-axle agricultural trailers can be equipped with manual, overrun, pneumatic brakes or hydraulic braking system.

Most often, OtiumFarm trailers are equipped with an overrun brake, mounted to the lower frame of the trailer. The overrun brake cable is connected to the trailer driving axle by a steel cable. The overrun brake is automatically activated when the tractor brakes. Under the influence of the inertia force, the trailer exerts pressure on the tractor coupling, thanks to which the drawbar cable is inserted into the body and moves the cable connected to the axle spreading levers, which activate the trailer's brakes. The overrun axles of OtiumFarm agricultural trailers are equipped with a mechanism that prevents the brakes from blocking when reversing the trailer.
